Overview

About the program

BS Nursing (BSN Generic) is the standard four-year university degree for becoming a professional nurse in Pakistan. At NACON the program follows the curriculum of the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council and the University of Health Sciences, Lahore, combining nursing sciences, basic medical sciences and supervised clinical practice from the early semesters. Students train in our skill and science labs and rotate through real hospital wards under clinical attachment with Gulab Devi Hospital, Lahore.

Graduates qualify to register with the Pakistan Nursing Council and practise as Registered Nurses in public and private hospitals across Pakistan. With experience, BSN graduates progress to charge nurse and supervisory roles, move into community health settings such as BHUs and RHCs, or continue to postgraduate study — including MSN — for careers in nursing education and management.
