Overview

About the program

Hospitals across Pakistan need nurses who can work confidently in their most demanding departments — intensive care, cardiac care, paediatrics and emergency. NACON's post-basic diplomas are one-year specialization programs designed for registered nurses who want to build exactly that expertise.

Each diploma combines focused classroom study with supervised clinical practice through our attachment with Gulab Devi Hospital, Lahore. Graduates return to the workforce as specialized unit nurses — a qualification that strengthens both your practice and your career prospects.

Facilities & clinical training

Learn in the lab. Train in the ward.

Healthcare skills cannot be learned from books alone. Students at NACON practise procedures in a well-equipped Skill Lab and Science Lab before performing them with real patients, study in classrooms with multimedia and internet facility, and draw on a well-furnished library with the latest editions of books.

Clinical attachment with Gulab Devi Hospital, Lahore places students in supervised hospital rotations — so that by graduation, real ward work already feels familiar.
