Overview

About the program

Post RN BSc Nursing is a two-year degree designed for working Registered Nurses who hold a Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery. Increasingly, hospitals and health departments in Pakistan expect nurses in senior positions to hold a bachelor's degree — this program bridges that gap without asking you to start over. At NACON the course follows the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council and University of Health Sciences, Lahore framework, building on your ward experience with advanced nursing concepts, research and management.

Graduates strengthen their standing for head nurse, nursing supervisor and nursing administration roles, and become eligible for teaching positions in nursing schools and colleges. The BSc is also the stepping stone to postgraduate study such as MSN, for those aiming at nursing education and leadership at the institutional level.
